 ALi January sales stay flat with little boost from new optical drive chips

Message Text: As DigiTimes report "...ALi Corporation (formerly Acer Laboratories) on February 10 posted NT$409 million for its January revenues, seeing only marginal growth of 1.5% from December, as the company’s multimedia chip business was still unable to enjoy much of a boost from its new products. Unlike other chip suppliers for optical storage drives, ALi failed to reap results from the usual shipment peak for optical drives in January, as its new DVD-ROM, CD-RW and combo drive chips only entered volume production in the fourth quarter..."
