Invitation to the first meeting of the Recorder Group of the DVD+RW Compatibility and Convergence Group (DCCG-RG). The DVD+RW Alliance has decided to found the so-called DCCG-RG working group for improving compatibility between DVD+RW/+R products.

Activities will concentrate on Round Robin testing of media and recorders, both on physical and file system level. Also the Real Time Video and Mount Rainier implementations will be part of the investigation.

Companies active/considering to be active in the area of DVD+RW/+R are invited to attend the set-up meeting of the DCCG-RG to get more information on this initiative.
