 Nokia X Specifications Appear on TENAA Website

The specifications of the upcoming Nokia X mid-range smartphone have appeared on Chinese certification website Tenaa.

Rumored to be officially unveiled in China next week, the HMD Global's X-Series smartphone is expected to have a bezel-less display and an iPhone X-like notch.

According to the TENAA listing, the "Nokia TA-1099" will run on a near-stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. It'll sport a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) TFT display with a 19:9 ratio. The phone seems to be powered be an unidentified octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, it will include 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM along with 32GB/ 64GB storage, expandable to up to 128GB via a microSD.

In terms of cameras, the X-series is expected to have a vertical twin rear camera setup with dual 16-megapixel sensors. The rumored Carl Zeiss lens within the rear camera is not confirmed by the TENAA listing.

Built in sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensing element, fingerprint and proximity sensors.

If these spaces are confirmed, the Nokia X will be competitive with smartphones such as the Vivo V9, Oppo F7, Honor 9i, Motorola Moto X4, and also the Apple iPhone 6.
