Ricoh Japan announced today that from August the NeoDVD software would be upgraded to support the DVD+VR recording format for the Japanese users of MP5125A. The upgrade will occur with download patch. The DVD+VR format is a video format standardized by DVD+RW/+R. It performs postscript, edit, partial deletion, etc. on a disk unlike the DVD video recording standard (VR mode) adopted by DVD-RAM or the recorder of DVD-RW.
With the DVD+VR format you can:
1) Create postscript and edit on a DVD+RW disk freely, maintaining compatibility with reproduction with a DVD-Video player.
2) Real-time recording is possible DVD+RW/+R disk, from various sources (TV, DV, etc..). Moreover, it is also possible to record by addition to a disk [ finishing / record by DVD+VR format / already ]. |
