Message Text: ASUS presented a new recorder with 24x re-writing speed at the Taipei 2002 show. The new drive with the codename "CRW-4824A" supports 48x writing (CAV), 24x re-writing (P-CAV?), 48x reading (CAV), 2Mb buffer, FlextraLink and FlextraSpeed technologies. The drive expected to hit the market around August-September of 2002.
