Pioneer has discovered a software issue which may affect the functioning of the DVR-7000. This software issue doesn't pose any risk to customers' safety. However, to ensure your DVR-7000 continues to function properly, Pioneer is offering a software re-installation free of charge.
As Pioneer states "...This problem affects systems which do not carry a yellow label next to the serial number on the product's back panel and carton box. Therefore, if your unit does not carry such a yellow label, you are kindly requested to contact the local Pioneer organization, who will provide details on how the re-installation of the appropriate software will be pursued. Thank you very much for your understanding and please do accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused...."
