Message Text: BenQ announced its newest CD-ReWritable (CD-RW) drive, the CD-RW 4812P. This drive is built upon the latest optical storage platform and incorporates the latest technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The BenQ 4812P boasts some of the fastest speeds currently available at 48x write, 12 re-write and 48x read performance.

In addition, this unit enables the user to burn a full capacity 650Mb disk in less than 3 minutes while maintaining performance and excellent quality using the Constant Angular Velocity (CAV) writing mode. The unit ships immediately with an MSRP of $159.
