The YAMAHA Corporation, one of the first producers in the area of high-quality CD-ReWritable drives, presents at this year’s CeBIT two new technologies and the already successfully introduced CD-R/RW Series CRW3200 and Compact CRW70.
Graphics on data side of CD-Rs
YAMAHA has developed an innovative laser scanning technology for CD-R/RWs which not only writes data on the data side of the CD-R, but also permits graphic images to be imprinted. Experts at YAMAHA have now succeeded in developing both laser output and rotation control in such a way that the CD-RW recorder is capable of burning images onto the CD-R as well as content in the form of data. This enables the
user to write a practical “memo“ such as a date, index, logo or picture on the unused area of the disk.
This world premier will be presented at this year’s CeBIT Fair.
50-Disc Changer
YAMAHA will introduce a new developed mechanism which is able to change 50 CDs/DVDs within the shortest time. It is compatible with every internal CD-ROM/CD-RW/DVD-drive currently available on the market.
The 50-Disc Changer is usable over a wide range of applications, i.e.
- CD/DVD-duplicator (perfect for small series of CDs/DVDs)
- Server (data-, video- or back up)
- Multi CD/DVD-Changer |
