"...Ritek announced it plans to spin off its material business division in Miaoli as an independent subsidiary. In the initial stage, the company, which will be primarily in charge of back-end packaging of CD-R discs and material supply, will be fully controlled by Ritek, with capital of NT$2.21 billion.
As well as the present production lines, the new subsidiary will also develop along the lines of Ritek’s primary focus on optical storage media, OLED (organic light-emitting diode) products and optical communication appliances. In the future, it may also introduce more research teams and investment to strengthen its development..."
