"...CMC Magnetics Corp.(CMC) reported the unaudited Sales for May 2001 of NT$ 1,534 million and achieved the highest monthly sales amount since November 1999.It also surpassed the sales of NT$1,407 million for the same period last year.

CMC stated that the unit price of CD-R would achieve US$0.30 in the third quarter.The unit price is expected to rise in the near future. The Company has adjusted the utilization rate by a 10% monthly increase to meet the strong demand. The facilities are expected to be fully operational this coming August.Adding strong demand from CIA products,the Company expects to see stable rise in revenue contributions..."
