"...Primera Technology today announced at REPLItech Europe 2001 a new network-ready software solution for its popular Composer Optical Disc Duplicator. Utilizing Isomedia, Inc.’s Buzzsaw CD-R duplication software, Composer can be easily integrated into a variety of network environments that are operating under Windows 98/Me/NT or 2000. Both server and peer-to-peer configurations are supported. Recording and printing jobs are easily generated from any workstation on the network through an intuitive Wizard-style user interface. Job status is reported back in real time to the job originator. This makes the remote recording and printing of discs highly reliable and efficient since Composer’s major functions can be viewed remotely instead of having to physically supervise the unit in operation. Users can produce either unique “one-off” CDs or multiple disc duplication runs of up to 50 discs at a time.
“When combined with our Composer Optical Disc Duplicator, Isomedia’s software delivers a highly capable networking solution at the industry’s best value,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera Technology’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Essentially, we’ve taken a previously complex and expensive hardware and software systems integration task and packaged it into an off-the-shelf product. It’s an added bonus that our total solution price is thousands of dollars less than competitive products. Virtually any company with an installed Windows-based network can pay for it in a short period of time.”..."
