Message Text: "...Prodisc's DVD-RAM 4.7/9.4 /1.46/2.92 GB has been awarded recognition from the Class A Lab of the DVD Forum of May 2001. This means the quality of Prodisc's DVD-RAM has been proven by the highest level of international DVD organization.

Recognition from the DVD Forum's Class A Lab requires the passing of more than 100 strict inspections on the product as well as the manufacturing procedures. At present, there are very few DVD-RAM manufacturers able to meet the standards required by the DVD Forum. Once receiving recognition, manufacturers are permitted to show the DVD logo on products, ads and promotional items. Although the logo can be seen on most DVD-RAM discs in the market, the majority of these are illegal, including the products of some major manufacturers..."
