Message Text: We have some reports from our visitors that the latest Nero 5.5.2.3 update ,at Win2k, gently other CDR software by removing some registry entries. We haven't so yet confirmed the information but you can investigate yourself and report back to us:

"...Nero 5.5.2.3 upgrade seems to disable Padus DJ (and other products using cdrom.sys lower filters like Veritas (Prassi), the software from Pinnacle etc.) by removing the device driver entry with the application NeroCheck.exe, from the "LowerFilters" registry entry. Also latest CloneCD "elby.vxd" drives seems causing problems to Padus DJ since the burned CDs are un-readable..."
