"...Trace Affex has introduced their latest CD-R printer, the Affex Allegro for PCs and Macs. The Affex Allegro achieves an unparalleled 2880x720 print density, with photo-quality print results. Based on award-winning Epson Stylus 880i ink-jet printer technology, it uses a durable "polycarb" caddy to feed two CDs through the printer; is 50% faster than previous models; uses long-lasting ink-jet cartridges; and prints in true four-color (CMYK).
The printer is connected to a computer using a standard parallel or USB cable. It is compatible with all Windows and Mac graphics software and comes with templates for printing from the most popular packages. The printer can be networked via an Axis 1440 Ethernet adapter. Optional caddy trays are available for printing CD-R business cards (80mm x 63mm). Special orders for any size business card trays are accepted. The printer's MSRP is $1695 and it is available now..."
