Acer today announced a series of 10-inch tablets including the new Iconia Tab 10 (A3-A50) and the new Iconia One 10 (B3-A40FHD). The company also unveiled its new Nitro notebook line for casual gamers and the 11.6-inch convertible Acer Spin 1.

Powered by quad-core MediaTek processors and Android 7.0 Nougat, the new tablets provide up to 8 hours of battery life. Wide-viewing-angle IPS displays and five-magnet speakers with DTS-HD Premium Sound are included, while 802.11ac wireless provides fast network connections.

Iconia Tab 10

Designed with media consumption in mind, the Iconia Tab 10 (A3-A50) features a display with Quantum Dot technology, offering a wider color range with higher brightness, deeper saturation and better accuracy. An Acer-patented subwoofer offers an extra punch while maintaining a slim profile of under 9 mm (0.35 inch) in height, while four speakers provide a richer audio experience. The Iconia Tab 10 also features Acer MediaMaster which allows users to set preferences for different types of movies or music.

Iconia One 10

With dual micro-USB ports and On-The-Go (OTG) support, the Iconia One 10 (B3-A40FHD) provides productivity as it allows the device to be charged and connected to external devices such as storage or a mouse at the same time, while a Bluetooth keyboard can be connected for text input. Android 7.0 also supports multi-windows and quick app switching.

Acer's new Nitro notebook line for casual gamers is available with many configurations options. Gamers can choose up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics paired with 7th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processors, or models with AMD Radeon RX550 graphics with 7th Generation AMD A-Series FX, A12 or A10 APUs. These models all feature Windows 10, and support up to 32GB of DDR4 2400 MHz memory.

Select models come equipped with PCIe SSDs (up to 512GB) paired with an optional HDD for storage (up to 2TB). A Gigabit Ethernet port delivers fast wired connections, while the 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO wireless technology provides fast wireless connectivity. A selection of ports includes one USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen 1) port, one USB 3.0 port with power-off charging, two USB 2.0 ports, and an HDMI 2.0 port, which can support up to 90 Hz refresh rates.

The Nitro 5 features dual fans with Acer Coolboost technology, which delivers heightened fan speeds and cooling ability, and allows users to manually control the cooling process when heavy use requires an added boost.

All models offer a vibrant 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS[2] display, while Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony technology provides sound depth.

The Acer Nitro 5 will be available in North America in July starting at $799.

The latest version of Acer's Spin 1 convertible notebook is weighing in at just 1.25 kg (2.76 lbs). It has a 14 mm (0.55-inch)-thin chassis and sports the latest Intel Pentium or Intel Celeron processors, 4 GB DDR3L memory as well as a choice of 32 / 64 / 128 GB eMMC storage. It has a 11.6-inch Full HD (1920x1080) touch-enabled screen with IPS technology, along with eight hours of battery life.

On all models the Precision Touchpad, which supports Windows 10 gestures, allows users to work faster due to accurate tracking of their fingertips and movements. The Spin 1 is also ready to work with the Acer Active Stylus accessory which enables precise and direct on-screen input.

With wireless connectivity through Intel Wireless-AC (802.11ac 2x2) technology, the Spin 1 is capable of providing up to three times faster downloads compared to traditional 802.11n 2x2 devices.

Speakers with Acer TrueHarmony technology are located on both sides of the device. Additional connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, one USB 3.1 port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port and one microSD (SDXC) card slot.

The Acer Spin 1 will be available in North America in July with prices starting at $329.
