Today (6/11) the list of licensed BURN-Proof enabled drives updated. This time the newest Sanyo models added, BP4 and BP1400P, which support 16x (CLV) writing speed.
CRD-BP1400P (ATAPI):
Writing: 2x, 4x, 8x, 12x, 16x
Re-writing: 2x, 4x, 8x(HS), 10x(HS)
CRD-BP4 (SCSI):
Writing: 2x, 4x, 8x, 12x, 16x
Re-writing: 2x, 4x, 8x(HS), 10x(HS)
What this mean? Other 16x solutions (besides Yamaha's) are coming soon from Sanyo and other manufacturers (like possible PleXWriter PX-W1610A/S).
