As we had posted sometime ago, Sanyo's newest SCSI model was named Sanyo CRD-BP3. Today Sanyo officially announced the drive:

The CRD-BP3 is Ultra SCSI CD-RW drive featuring a Half-height form factor that enables you to write/rewrite 640MB of CD-ROM data with the world's fastest speed.
