Message Text: As it seems Sanyo, have their new series of CDR-W drives ready. We heard that the new drives support 12x write, 10x re-write, ?x read speed and of course, they will include BURN-Proof:

- Sanyo CRD-BP3 (SCSI)
- Sanyo CRD-BP1300P (ATAPI)
As you already know, Plextor have announced PleXWriter PX-1210TA (12/10/32) ATAPI CDR-W drive. In addition, we know that Plextor uses mechanisms from Sanyo. That makes us suspect that Plextor will also ship a SCSI version of the 12/10/32 ATAPI model since Sanyo has the pickup ready.

Of course, no info of possibly shipping date and estimated price is out yet, even there is some talk around about September 2000. ;)
