Below is an email from a viewer:
"..For the guys who want to upgrade your W2K with Adaptec Direct CD Update 3.01, let they know , that after the upgrade, thy will have some problems with this update. It seems that Direct CD3.01 prevents W2K to enter in Standing by mode or Hibernate mode, the pc hugs at this time!!! All goes fine when removing Direct CD from the hard disk and rebooting.."
We also got the following email which can solve this problem:
"..a workaround so you have back hybernation and standby is to install the 3.01b patch fromt the japanes site right after the patch from the u.s. site.."
