Message Text: Sanyo plans also an IDE version of CRD-BP2 called CRD-BP900P. Strange is that CRD-BP2 homepage says drive has 2mb buffer however Nero 4.0.7.5 reported 3800kb buffer..So now much time it takes to burn a CD with 12x speed ? 6:45min for 650mb(74minCD) and 7:13min for 700mb(80minCD) (includes time for caching files and writing lead out). The drive supports CD-Text and possibly "DAO RAW" but not OverBurn. We are testing Burn Proof feature and soon will post our thought about this technology.
