 Philips, Sonopress and Toolex announce plan to jointly develop a production line for SACD hybrid discs

Message Text: "..Philips Electronics and Sonopress announced that they have signed a contract to develop a SACD hybrid disc production line to be installed in the Sonopress factory in Güutersloh. This is the first step of the agreement to jointly develop Super Audio CD (SACD) hybrid disc production facilities. The hybrid disc production line will be developed by Sonopress and Toolex International NV with support of Philips and will be based on Toolex's current DVD9 'Flexliner'. It is scheduled to be installed in February 2000, with full production early in second quarter 2000.."
