Message Text: "..Creators of DVD technology have already:
- Changed the keys that the European hackers used to break the protection codes. New DVDs cannot be copied with the pirates' program.
- Stopped the Web sites from offering the program. Manufacturers are considering legal action against those sites, but that would be difficult because the piracy occurred outside the USA.
- Manufacturers also are exploring new forms of copy protection that would work on current DVD players.."
