Uber Technologies has submitted a $3 billion bid for HERE, Nokia?s maps business, the New York Times reported.
The offer is the latest for Nokia's business, as a group of German automakers, - BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz- are teaming up with Chinese Internet search engine Baidu on the bid, the Times added.
Nokia is seeking to sell HERE as it focuses on boosting growth at its wireless-network unit and improving its debt rating, Bloomberg reported last month.
