"..Mitsui Advanced Media a subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals America today announced the grand opening of its new e-commerce web-site, www.mitsuicdrstore.com. The site will make select Mitsui CD-R brand products available direct to anyone who has access to the Internet.
Initial offerings include Digital Audio CD-R for Consumers, Mitsui Xtra Files 10-pack box, Mitsui 3.95GB DVD-R and new iMac* colored discs.
Mitsui Digital Audio for Consumers CD-R's are write-once, audio-only discs designed specifically for use in home audio systems. The Mitsui Digital Audio CD-R is compatible with recorders that utilize the Serial Copy Management System (SCMS). Available in a 10-pack that retails for $25.99.
The Mitsui Xtra-Files 10-Pack provides high quality CD-R media and a unique, color-coded indexing system in a functional space-saving file box for efficient
data storage. The package contains: 10 Mitsui CD-R discs in Tyvek sleeves, a full color sheet of self-adhesive indexing decals for efficient labeling, functional, sturdy
file box for self storage. The complete package retails for $21.99.
Mitsui's 3.95GB DVD-Recordable Discs are highly specialized, write-once media for high volume storage and retrieval. Mitsui DVD-R are suitable for data storage of any type; DVD-Video, DVD-Rom or DVD-Audio. The 4.7 GB DVD-R will be available in early 2000. Available in jewel case, they retail for $39.50.
Choose from Strawberry, Grape, Blueberry, Lime or Tangerine. The new vibrant and translucent Mitsui CD-R's in iMAC* colors are compatible with leading thermal transfer printers. Available in bulk 50-pack for $99.99.."
