"..The drive is a bit noisy; like all variable speed drives. I believe the last quiet CD-rom drive I used was a 24x Toshiba... but I will admit that the drive is nice and fast; Linux Mandrake installed very quickly from it :-) Great drive; better supported under Windows 98 than Windows 95. I *really* like trayless design.."
