"..Considering the software based decoding solution this package uses, I cannotreally compare it to DVD upgrade packages that come with an add-in card, but it's also unfair to put it up to el-cheapo DVD drives that come in OEM packaging without any decoding software. Thus, I come to the conclusion that the package is well worth it's price of 98$ (lowest Web price)just judging by it's features' value. Compared to other drives it's still relatively cheap, even though there are other, cheaper drives that also have the edge of the software decoder bundle.."
