Message Text: Apple is set to announce a new product launch event on October 21st, where the company is expected to reveal new iPads and make OS X 10.10 Yosemite officially available.

The new iPad is expected to have a 9.7 inch screen, while the new version of the iPad mini will have a 7.9 inch screen, according to earlier reports from Bloomberg. Do not expect any furhter information, although rumors and "leaks" about the new iPads are expected to emerge towards the announcement date.

Yosemite has been in beta since it was first announced back in June.

Apple's suppliers also preparing to manufacture the company's largest-ever iPad, with a 12.9-inch screen, with production slated to begin by the first quarter of next year.

Apple had announced the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display around the same time last year.
