Message Text: LG Electronics is expanding its line of G Pad tablets with the introduction of LG G Pad 7.0 and LG G Pad 10.1.

Both are WiFi enabled tablets that run Android 4.4 KitKat and feature LG's new UI, recently introduced in its latest flagship device, the LG G3.

LG G Pad 7.0 will retail at an MSRP of $149.99 and LG G Pad 10.1 will retail at an MSRP of $249.99. Both are available at retailers, including BestBuy and Newegg. The LG G Pad 7.0 will be available in Black, White, Luminous Orange and Luminous Blue and LG G Pad 10.1 will come in Black and Red.

With QPair 2.0, users will be able to tether any smartphone running Android 4.1 or later with LG G Pad 7.0 and LG G Pad 10.1 tablets, to receive and reply to notifications as well as take calls across devices. For example, receive and reply to SMS and MMS messages, plus answer an incoming call and have a phone conversation using the speaker on the tablet. QPair 2.0 also allows users to sync QuickMemo notes taken on-the-go.

LG's new G Pad series also features QuickRemote, which means people can pair and use the tablets as a universal remote to control multiple compatible electronic devices, including TVs, set top boxes, audio electronics, DVD and Blu-ray players.

LG Pad 7.0 and LG G Pad 10.1 will be equipped with LG's security feature, LG Knock Code, a new way of waking and unlocking mobile devices. LG Knock Code, an evolution of KnockON that was first announced on the LG G2, allows users to personalize a knock sequence within four invisible quadrants on the tablet's display. Users can customize more than 86,000 combinations.

Under the hood, both the LG G Pad 7.0 and LG G Pad 10.1 feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

In addition, both tablets feature Smart Keyboard. Part of LG's refreshed UI, Smart Keyboard features adaptive technology, which learns as you type for faster input and fewer mistakes. Smart Keyboard helps reduce input errors by tracking and analyzing typing habits, intuitively "knowing" what word the user intended to type. The height of the keyboard can also be adjusted to better fit the user's hands and position of the thumbs.

Additional key features include Dual Window and Slide Aside, which assist users in multi-tasking between apps. QSlide Function lets users float up to two app windows on top of the large display and adjust the window size and transparency.
