Message Text: Huawei has launched its Honor 6 smartphone in China, featuring a a five-inch 1920x1080-resolution display and a thin 2.86mm bezel.

The device's screen-to-body ratio is 75.7 percent, packed into a 6.5mm-thick aluminum alloy frame with a 'spin effect' textured finish, which is said to keep the smartphone's temperature low.

Under the hood there is a Kirin 920 octa-core processor running Android 4.4.2, pairing four Cortex-A15 cores with an equal number of Cortex-A7 cores, along with a Mali-T628 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Options for 16GB and 32GB of storage with microSD expansion will be available, along with Category 6 LTE connectivity at up to 300Mbps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 3,000mAh battery. On the rear there is a 13-megapixel Sony BSI camera with dual LED flash, autofocus, and an aperture of F2.0, while the front has a 5-megapixel version.

Huawei will start shipping the Honor 6 in China from July 1st, priced at 1,999 RMB ($320) for the 16GB model and 2,499 ($400) for the 32GB version.
