Orange France was once again hit by hackers and the details of 1.3 million customers in France were exposed.
Orange said hackers accessed a technical mailing and SMS
platform.
The company warned its
French customers to beware of phishing attempts following a
hack discovered on 18 April. The security breach exposed
customers' first names, surnames, and in some cases, their
email address, mobile and fixed-line phone numbers, dates of
birth and the mobile carrier they were using.
Three months ago, the French carrier's orange.fr website was
hacked and 800,000 users' data was stolen.
