The VP-580 Network DVR is a high performance digital video recorder built-in a mini web server with real-time video capturing capability. The video is grabbed and compressed for faster transmission to your PC through 10/100Mbps Ethernet. VP-580 is an embedded Network DVR & Remote Video Server. With 4 or 8 video input, one audio input. It has Removable Hard Driver, CD-RW Driver for backup. Also with optional RAID-1 Disk Mirror. VP-580's operation interface can choose IrDA controller or GUI control. Watch Dog function for system automatic failure recovery. And warning while chassis open or signal lost. These advanced functions make VP-580 an excellent and competitive Network DVR.
VP-580 can record / playback / browse video simultaneously and save video data by cycle recording to removable hard disk. It provides records audio & video data into build-in hard disk. It supports channel-switching (QUAD) function for local CCTV monitoring and continuing records audio & video data. Up to 8 cameras allow to be connected, this unit delivers real-time full-motion audio/video transmission to anywhere anytime. All that is needed is an Internet browser and our proprietary plug-ins software. Attached video cameras can be remotely controlled to swivel and zoom in and out, and the unit can be triggered to initiate certain events, schedule recording, motion detection and pre-alarm. The unit support NAS(Network Access Storage) and USB External Storage for storage extension.
