Apricorn, a leader in innovative easy-to-use portable data storage and transfer products, announced the EZ Bus DT, a USB 2.0 backup and external storage system for both desktops and laptops.
EZ Bus DT is the ideal hard drive for backing up data and adding extra storage to any system -- notebook or desktop, PC or MAC. The plug-n-play and hot swappable features make hard drive capacity expansion simple. With availability of up to 250GB of additional storage as well as a transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps, users can backup their entire systems and safely store large files including digital photographs, emails, music and video files.

Hard drive models are available in 80GB, 120GB, 200GB and 250GB sizes. Additional features include a USB cable, AC adapter, enclosure stand, an ultra-cool fan and an aluminum enclosure keeping the hard drive at optimal temperatures improving the longevity of the hard drive and the stored data.
The EZ Bus DT includes EZ Gig II Backup and Disaster Recovery Utility for Windows, one of the most powerful and user-friendly backup packages available. EZ Gig II provides two utilities on one disk: Clone EZ and Image EZ.
Clone EZ is ideal for users who require an exact bootable clone of their drive. A cloned copy is great for real-time disaster recovery or when upgrading a hard drive.
Image EZ is perfect for users who want a compressed image of either their entire hard drive or a partition. Image EZ compresses its backup image files, leaving users enough space to backup multiple computers, or maintain multiple backups made at different times.
