Corning will showcase a variety of Corning Gorilla Glass solutions as well as Thunderbolt and USB 3.Optical Cables by Corning at the CES show.
The company will give Gorilla Glass demonstrations highlighting its newest innovation, antimicrobial glass; the effectiveness of its antireflective technologies; the benefits of its notebook applications; and the latest technologies in scratch resistance and retained strength.
Corning will also showcase Gorilla Glass for large-format applications. Gorilla Glass markerboards will be on display in the booth. Corning, eBay Inc., and Planar Systems will combine their expertise in specialty materials, software, and digital signage display hardware to present retail applications of the future, as seen in "A Day Made of Glass." Show attendees will enjoy a retail experience without ever setting foot in a store by way of a visionary demo simulating an 84-inch diagonal window storefront.
Optical Cables by Corning will showcase video and data transfers enabled by its first all-optical fiber cables for use with Thunderbolt. The exhibit will showcase a Thunderbolt 2/4K workflow transmitting at speeds up to 20Gb/s and spanning more than 200 feet.
