Message Text: Graphics card makers in Taiwan inclusing Asustek Computer, Micro-Star International (MSI) and PowerColor are expected to start mass shipping their first products based on AMD's 'Hawaii' GPU in October.

'Hawaii' is AMD's next generation high-end GPU and will be officially announced very soon.

For now, AMD has started cutting prices for its Radeon HD 7000 series products including the HD 7990.

Nvidia's response to the new AMD GPU will follow after Hawaii's launch. This could be either a price cut or a new product optimized to compete with Hawaii's performance.
