Apple is expected to reveal a digital radio service and changes to the iOS software that powers the iPhones and iPads on Monday.
Major announcements are expected during Monday's keynote presentation at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco.
Apple is expected to show off a simplified look on iPhones and iPads - a radical design change since the iPhone made its debut in 2007.
Apple is also likely to preview how future products will function in its unveiling of new services and features, including a new version of iOS - the iOS 7. The new OS is expected to feature icons that will look plain and simple, dropping their three-dimensional look found on the current version of the iOS.
Apple may also update its highly criticized Maps app and also add support for gesture commands.
Apple is also expected to debut a streaming music service dubbed iRadio, which could compete with Google's 'All Access' on-demand subscription music service.
In any case, Apple should retain its focus on delivering compelling products and services to the consumer. This means fixing the issues that the current services have while improving them. Additionally Apple needs to demonstrate that it still has the ability to innovate and invent products that consumers don't know that they need or want yet.
