CeBit kicks off in less than 6 days in Hannover, Germany, and Plextor will be there showing a TLC-based Solid State Drive solution.
The new 2.5" SSD is based on Plextor's own firmware and features sustained random read / write speeds up to 80,000 / 72,000 IOPS as well as continuous read / write speeds up to 540 / 465 Mb/s. The drive will use the latest 3rd generation Marvell 88SS9187 controller and TLC NAND flash from Toshiba.
The new TLC solution will also feature Plextor's TrueSpeed Technology to prevent performance drop after intense or long-term usage.
