EVGA has a slew of new products to show at CES, including a new motherboard based on the Intel X79 chipset and a brand new product/category for EVGA.
EVGA has on display the X79 Dark motherboard based on the upcoming Ivy Bridge-E processors. The motherboard features an E-ATX form factor, 12+1 phase PWM, eight DDR3 memory slots (supporting up to 64 GB of RAM), ten SATA ports, five PCI-Express x16 slots, dual Intel Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 connectors, Bluetooth, two eSATA ports, and 7.1-channel audio.
The X79 Dark also has an angled 24-pin power connector, a debug LED, EVBot support, plus Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons.
EVGA also showed off its Mini ITX Box, which supports both air cooling and water cooling. The chassis uses a 500W power supply, a bay for a vertical mounted slot-loading optical drive, dual USB 3.0 headers up front, and the chassis itself can accommodate full-length graphics cards.
It is expcted to ship in the second half of 2013. |
