Message Text: Corsair is showcasing at CES the Corsair Voyager Air, an all-in-one mobile wireless drive, home network attached storage, USB drive, and wireless hub, along with fast USB flash drives and DDR3 memory modules.

With up to 1TB of capacity, a rechargeable battery, and Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB 3.0 connectivity, the Voyager Air enables digital media enthusiasts to consolidate an entire collection of movies, music, or other documents for sharing on their home network or on the go. Media stored on Voyager Air may be accessed directly from a PC or Mac, or with a free Corsair app, streamed to Android devices or Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. Voyager Air can be connected to a home network for easy access to media from network-enabled smart TVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, DVRs, and streaming media boxes. Available in 500GB and 1TB models, Voyager Air provides enough storage to hold up to 800 full-length HD movies or 380,000 MP3 files.

The device is a self-contained streaming media server with a wireless hub (802.11n/b/g) built-in, so Voyager Air can wirelessly stream digital content to other playback devices directly with no Internet connection required. Voyager Air provides Wi-Fi connections for multiple users at ranges up to 90 feet, and can stream high-definition video to up to five devices at once. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to seven hours of video streaming between recharges.

Voyager Air can also function as a shared home network attached storage (NAS) drive by plugging it into a network router via its built-in Gigabit Ethernet interface. It can then be accessed by multiple users on any networked Windows, OS X, or Linux system to stream media or for file storage, media consolidation, and backup. Voyager Air comes ready to use in Windows format (NTFS) but Mac users can reformat to HFS+ for Time Machine compatibility.

Voyager Air also functions as a USB 3.0 drive with nearly twice the performance of similar mobile USB drives, enabling users to copy a two-hour HD movie in under 30 seconds.

Voyager Air will be available beginning early February from Corsair's network of resellers and distributors. They will be available in 500GB and 1TB capacities with each being available in red and grey. Suggested retail pricing is $179.99 for 500GB models and $219.99 for 1TB models.

Corsair also today announced the Flash Voyager GT Turbo flash drives. Available in 128GB, 64GB, and 32GB capacities, the new flash drives deliver affordable, file transfer speeds previously only available in far more expensive "USB 3.0 to SATA bridge" based drives.

The Flash Voyager GT Turbo USB 3.0 flash drives are housed in a brushed metal housing with a capless design. The drives deliver read speeds of up to 260 MB/s and write speeds of up to 235 MB/s. The drives connect with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, and work with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux with no additional software required.

The Flash Voyager GT Turbo flash drives will be available in February. They are backed by a 5-year warranty.

Suggested retail pricing are as follows:

Flash Voyager GT Turbo 128GB: $179.99 USD
Flash Voyager GT Turbo 64GB: $89.99 USD
Flash Voyager GT Turbo 32GB: $49.99 USD

At Corsair's booth at CES there is also Dominator Platinum Light Bar Upgrade Kits. The new kits allow PC enthusiasts to enhance and customize the lighting of their Dominator Platinum DDR3 PC memory kits.

Each Dominator Platinum Light Bar Upgrade Kit includes two light bars which replace the existing bars on the memory modules, and translucent colored inserts (in Cerulean Blue and Arctic White) which allow users to customize the lighting color. The light bars are designed with new top openings to radiate more light upwards.

Moving on, the PC gaming peripherals designer is shocasing the premier Corsair Vengeance line of gaming keyboards, mice, and mouse mats. The company also said that it would release a free software driver update for the Vengeance 2000 wireless gaming headset, which adds Dolby Headphone 2.0 7.1-channel surround sound.

Now clad in a black anodized brushed aluminum chassis and equipped with luminous white LED lighting, the Vengeance K95 keyboard has been upgraded with Cherry MX Red key mechanical switches on every key including the function and macro keys. Each key is now individually backlit, enabling the keys to be independently enabled or disabled, and overall backlighting can be adjusted to four levels of intensity. The keyboard includes 18 dedicated macro keys that can be programmed via software or on-the-fly, and macros and lighting profiles can be stored in onboard flash memory. The Vengeance K95 also features full anti-ghosting, 20-key rollover, and a 1ms reporting rate.

Designed for serious gamers, the Vengeance M95 and M65 mice are built upon an ergonomic aluminum unibody chassis and fitted with an Avago Technologies ADNS-9800 LaserStream gaming sensor. The mice incorporate new ruggedized button switches and feature on-the-fly resolution switching, programmable lift detection, a high-mass scroll wheel, and PTFE glide pads.

The Vengeance M95 is optimized for MMO gamers. It has 15 fully programmable buttons, arranged and tuned for intuitive operation, and on-board flash memory to store macros in up to six profiles that can be switched on-the-fly. An included Microsoft Windows software utility allows management of macro keys, on-board profiles, and sensor settings to allow gamers to customize the M95 to match their gaming style. The Vengeance M95 is available in two colors, Arctic White and Gunmetal Black.

The Vengeance M65 is designed for FPS enthusiasts. It features a Sniper button, allowing an instant toggle from fast movement, high DPI-resolution mode down to a high-precision mode for more accurate aiming. Its aluminum body has an adjustable center of gravity to allow gamers to balance the mouse to their preference. The Vengeance M65 is available in three colors? Military Green, Arctic White and Gunmetal Black.

The MM600 is double-sided mat designed with foundation of a solid piece of 3mm thick aluminum to provide a flatter, more rigid surface and no-slip rubber corners to minimize slippage during frenzied gaming sessions. Each side of the mat has a high-quality polymer surface that has been tuned to deliver distinct glide characteristics. The smooth-texture side is designed to provide a high-speed glide, while the heavy-texture side is designed to deliver superior control.

The new Corsair Vengeance M95 and M65 mice and MM600 mouse mat will be available in January at suggested prices of $79.99, $69.99, and $39.99 respectively. The Vengeance K95 gaming keyboard is expected to be available early spring with a suggested retail price of $149.99.
