Following the availability of the $499 ASUS Vivo RT tablet earlier this week, Asus today announced the release of the VivoTab, a Windows 8 tablet priced at $799.

Multi-touch gives full fingertip control with Windows Store apps, while the Wacom digitizer stylus offers precision with Desktop apps. When connected to its Mobile Dock, VivoTab is transformed into a notebook, complete with keyboard, multi-touch touchpad and two USB 2.0 ports. Better still, the Mobile Dock extends VivoTab?s 10.5-hour battery life by up to nine hours, for a 19 hours mobile use.
ASUS VivoTab features a 8.7mm thin and 675g light metallic design, quad speakers with ASUS SonicMaster technology and an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus five-element lens and f/2.2 aperture. |
