Message Text: The Court of Appeal of England and Wales agreed with Samsung's claims that Apple's second court-ordered statement regarding the copyright case with Samsung was "false and misleading".

A UK high court ordered Cupertino to post an apology on its British website stating that the Galaxy Tab didn't copy the iPad tablet. Apple posted an apology online, but according to a judgement by the Court of Appeal of England and Wales, the apology was not compliant to the initial court ruling. The court said that Apple added statements to the apology statement that were "calculated to produce confusion," including references to other unrelated judgements.

Since then, Apple issued a second apology removing the comments on other legal battles between Samsung an Apple. Despite the amended "apology", the court is forcing Apple to pay all of Samsung's legal fees for the entire case on an "indemnity basis." This means that Apple will hae to compensate the Korean maker for losses suffered due to the original statement.
