Nokia and Microsoft will make a Windows Phone 8
announcement on Wednesday and leaks already appearing
detailing two possible devices.
Details posted on The Verge web site show the
possible Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820
Rumored specifications for the Lumia 920 include 1.5 GHz
dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 1.3
megapixel front facing camera, and 4.5 inch HD display.
There is also speculation that this device will include a
PureView camera.
The rumored Nokia Lumia 820 comes with a 4.3 inch display,
8GB storage and microSD card slot, 1.5 GHz dual-core
processor, 1GB RAM, and camera similar to the Lumia 920.
The most important rumored feature of these two devices is
the support for Qi charging technology, a standard for
interoperable wireless charging.
The competition for Noika is strong. Last week Samsung also
revealed their Windows Phone 8 high end device. HTC is
likely to make an announcement soon as well. A new Android
Nexus is likely to appear smetime in October or early
November and Apple's new iPhone is expected to debut in a
couple of weeks. |
