Rumor has it users may soon be able to surf the Web on Microsoft's gaming console and do so with voice and gesture commands.
According to The Verge tech blog, Microsoft may integrate Internet Explorer 9 into Xbox 360 consoles sometime in the near future. Microsoft is also said to be testing the use of Kinect voice and motion control to help users browse the Web.
Currently, Xbox 360 has Bing video search and Kinect voice recognition, a feature that has gotten mixed reviews from users who say they have to speak loudly and use very specific commands.
The Verge speculates that there may be an official announcement soon, especially with the E3 gaming show coming up.
Xbox 360 continues to hold the number one spot in the U.S., selling more units in April than any other console. According to NDP, Microsoft' sconsole in April holded 47 percent share of current-generation console sales in the U.S.
