Message Text: The graphing functionality in Google's search was improved by adding support for 3D plotting functions.

In addition to calculating math functions using the search box, Google's users will be able to type any real two variable function and see a dynamic, interactive, three dimensional plot. The graph can be rotated, showed from different angles, scaled or editing.

This feature is enabled by the WebGL technology, which Google is using for the first time in Google Search. WebGL is a new web technology that brings hardware-accelerated 3D graphics to the browser without the need to install additional software. This technology is currently supported on browsers such as Chrome and Firefox.
