 Is Sony Working On A Chromebook?

Message Text: Documents submitted to the FCC reveal that Sony will launcg a VAIO laptop with Google's Chrome OS operating system.

According to the documents spoted by the Laptop Reviews web site, the laptop's CPU is labeled as "T25", which could refer to an NVIDIA Tegra 250 T25. The Chromebook has also an 11.6-inch display, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, an HDMI output, and SD card slot.

The Chrome OS is based on Google's Web browser. Based on Linux and connected to the cloud, the OS offers tight security features but is generally fails to offer the user experience of other OS.

Chromebooks are curently sold online for about $299 ? $400. Currently, four models are available, the Samsung Series 5 Wi-Fi, the Acer AC700-1099 Chromebook (Wi-Fi), the Samsung Series 5 3G Chromebook and the Acer AC700-1090 Chromebook (3G).
