Message Text: The original Samsung Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S will not be updated to Android 4 "Ice Cream" OS because Samsung's TouchWiz interface takes up too much space, the company announced Friday.

Both Samsung's Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab were omitted from the roadmap the company released earlier this week. According to Samsung, TouchWiz, Samsung Widgets and Video Calls occupy too much memory space leaving very limited ROM to hold Android 4.

Samsung says users should prefer keeping TouchWiz over Android 4, in order to enjoy a better user experience.

Samsung announced Wednesday that several of its recently released products would be upgraded to Android 4 by March 2012, including the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note.
