German Court Rejects Apple's Claim To Block Updated Galaxy Tab

A German court rejected Apple's claims that Samsung' reworked Galaxy Tab tablet still copies the iPad.

According to the court's preliminary assesment, Samsung's updated tablet is not a copycat version of Apple's iPad. A ruling is slated for February 9.

In response to an earlier court ruling in Apple's favour, Samsung had redesigned its Galaxy Tab 10.1 for the German market.

But Apple challenged the reworked version as well, seeking an injunction that would ban Samsung from selling the device in Germany.
