Message Text: Sony has sold 321,400 units of its PlayStation Vita handheld gaming device in the first two days of its Japanese launch, although many consumers complained for system bugs.

Many PS Vita customers saw their brand new PS Vita device to freeze, touchscreen inputs to stop working, or to completely crash.

Sony admitted there are problems.

"Currently, our special office and information centre of PlayStation Vita as well as our usual customer service centre are receiving many enquiries," Sony wrote in a message on its Japanese Playstation website.

Sony also apologized for any inconvenience caused as well as for the long hold times at its customer help telephone lines. The company also created a FAQ section on its web site with information related to the operation and possible issues of the new gaming device.

The Vita is due out in February for the US.
