Message Text: Intel has plans to add TRIM support for RAID 0 arrays in the next version of Rapid Storage Technology (RST) driver.

According to the release notes for the Rapid Storage Technology (RST) 11.5 Alpha version, "this release (RST 11.5 Alpha) will not enable the TRIM on RAID0 feature, but it will be added in the next RST 11.5 release."

Windows 7 and Intel's RST support TRIM but the support has always excluded RAID 0 arrays.

TRIM maintains the performance of an SSD at high levels in the long run.
