LG has become the first company to be certified by TUV Rheinland for its flicker-free 3D notebook display.
LG's A530 notebook
was recognized as the first 3D notebook PC to offer a flicker-free viewing experience.
Flickering screens cause discomfort when viewed for a prolonged period of time.
TUV Rheinland is a leading technical, safety and certification services and Europe's highest authority on standards.
LG claims that thanks to its proprietary Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) screen with Full HD 1920x1080 resolution, images on the LG A530 are brighter than on shutter glasses-type 3D notebooks.
The LG A530 was introduced in Korea two months ago. The Korean company plans to improve its presennce in the global 3D notebook market in 2012.
