 NEC Introduces LaVie Touch LT550 Windows Tablet, New All-In One PC

Message Text: NEC today annonced its new 10.1" LaVie Touch LT550 Windows Tablet as well as a new All-In One PC.

The new LaVie Touch LT550/FS model will be available in Japan next monthfor about $ 1,300. The Windows 7 tablet comes with a 10.1" IPS Panel with a WXGA Resolution, NEC's ExTOUCH interface, an Atom Z670 CPU (1.50GHz, built-in video) with 2GB of RAM, and a 64GB SSD.

The LaVie Touch LT550/FS will be sold with a docking station including a DVD Super Drive and with a wireless mouse and keyboard combo.

Other features include a dual USB 2.0 interface, Wireless IEEE 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, HDMI, SDHC card slot, Web camera and microphone.



The device weighs about 729g and its size is 263 x 183 x 15.8mm (W x H x D). Its lithium-ion battery can provide power for 10.6 hours, NEC said.

NEC's new All-In One PC series include the "VALUESTAR N" model, which is able to display 3D content on its 20-inch full-HD IPS panel. The device is powered by an Intel Core i7-2670QM (2.20GHz, built-in video) and features 8GB of Memory, a 2TB HDD 2TB, a BDXL Blu-ray disc drive, a digital TV tuner. Windows 7 Home Premium (SP1, 64bit) and Office Home and Business 2010 software versions are coming installed with the PC.

Other fatures inlcude an HDMI output and a YAMAHA speaker system.
